progesterone

I was put on progesterone during this pregnancy since my doctor thought that my last two miscarriages were due to low progesterone/luteal phase defect/improper implantation. I am to remain on the progesterone until week 13. I stopped the progesterone Sunday night since I was all out and about 13 weeks into my pregnancy. I am crossing my fingers that this little babe's placenta has taken over production of progesterone since my body wasn't able to produce enough to begin with. I think when I see my OB tomorrow I'll have him check my levels just to be sure they're in the safe range. It would suck if something terrible happened just because I went off the progesterone before the placenta was truly able to take over production. Of course, it's just another thing for me to worry about. I'm off to eat some rainbow sherbert because I love it so much and it makes me happy. :)
