a note on clutter and a weekend update

I'd love to rid myself of all the clutter in my life -- and in my house. My dresser in my bedroom has stacks of clothes on top because I can't seem to get rid of clothes that I haven't worn in YEARS. I'm making a resolution to donate a ton of clothings, purses, and other items that are causing clutter in my house.
I have a baby coming, and we have to make room for the baby's stuff. It's a big step for me to de-clutter my house, but it needs to be done. It will help keep me busy, and when it's done I will feel calm about having a clutter free home, and most of all bedroom!

Now for the weekend update. Big C worked most of the weekend, but we found some time to sneak out this afternoon. We went to Target and purchased Rockband 2, a gallon of Milk, and a new baby blankie. When looking in the nursery today, I noticed we had all blue baby blankies. I wanted a unisex one. I found one today that was not only soft, but also meaningful. I bought a blankie with lots of baby footprints all over it. It'll be the blankie we take to the hospital with us when we prepare to have this little one. Whenever I see baby footprints, I think of Charlie. I have his footprint tattooed on my right ankle with angel wings on it. In fact, the picture at the top of this blog is what I have tattooed on my ankle in case you were trying to picture it.
So I bought something for this baby.. baby steps! :)
