is this normal??
Last night, as I sat on the couch watching desperate housewives, I felt little Katie kicking away. Then she started kicking so hard, that Corey could actually feel it! He was so excited. Today, I noticed that when she moves, I can see my stomach move. Now, I know this is normal later in pregnancy, but I don't recall feeling so much so early with Charlie. I'm only 21 weeks. My lower half of my belly moves like there's an alien inside. Is it normal to feel this much movement so soon? Why am I feeling so much now, when I couldn't with Charlie? I don't ever recall seeing my stomach move until around 28 weeks, or Corey even being able to feel him move until then either. This is so much sooner! I'm in no way complaining, I'm just wondering if this is normal?

It's normal. They say that with your second one you will show faster and will feel movement sooner than your first. Your stomach muscles are not as tight as before your first pregnancy. It could be also that Katie is a little more active than Charlie was. I am glad she is making her presence known so early. :)

I was going to say exactly what Connie said. :)
Maybe you are more sensitive - because you are paying much more attention and also know what to look for.
Call the nurse at the doc office if you are worried. A good doc (and staff) will respond and not dismiss. If they don't give you the time, find SOMEONE who is knowledgable to help you.
My insurance has a nurse program. Before my miscarriage, they had offered me additional support (an assigned nurse that calls ME) since I had had a stillbirth.
