There's something about the smell of cooking an apple pie to lift ones spirits. The bubbly, sweet smelling pie makes me hungry. I prepare this pie for my wonderful husband, who's birthday we will be celebrating today with my extended family, along with the birthday of my adorable 2 year-old nephew Cayden. I'm excited because as we leave the family function today, I will be bringing with me said nephew. Another week at Auntie's house! I'm really looking forward to the upcoming week.
Warm apple pie.. I'm looking forward to that too. :)

Update: Change of plans... Cayden's mom found a sitter for him, so I don't get to spend a week with him.. BOOOOO.
