Here's a rant about those stupid baby shows on the discovery health.
There's a lady, who is 9 1/2 cm dilated with an epidural. She's had fabulous cervical change throughout her induced labor. She decides she doesn't wanna go any further because she is "tired" and goes to have a c-section. What kind of doctor allows a woman who is 9 1/2 cm have a c-section when she's almost there? Did she have a c-section just because she was fearful that she was almost fully dilated and had to push? Why didn't anyone try to talk her out of a c-section when she was so close to the finish line? I just don't understand the logic there. The doctor seemed totally on board with her decision too. She had a complicated c-section because of the baby's head being so low and had to use a vacuum to extract the little feller.
I need to stop watching those stupid baby shows.
