Please tell me I'm reading too much into this whole notion of bad omens! I know people don't generally believe in omens these days, but I've got to wonder, am I jinxing myself and this pregnancy? The pregnancy journal I've been keeping has owls all over it. Owls are generally bad omens being the "messengers of death" and all. We've scheduled our level 2 ultrasound on Halloween. Is that asking for trouble? Oh.. and we do live with a black cat. :)
I know I'm being silly, but I'm bored today and sometimes writing helps sort through the silliness..

Yes, you are reading too much into it. That's all superstition. Just that.
Better only cross the fingers on one hand! I've heard that two hands at the same time is bad luck.....!
And babies don't have calendars!!

Halloween, owls and black cats could be full of luck for some! :)
With Charlie, every small percentage of something bad happening they said not to worry about because it wouldn't happen. It did though.. so I'm going to conclude that all of these "bad omen's" are going actually turn out to be good for this pregnancy since my life seems to work in opposites!
I see omens everywhere. Though, at least for me, they seldom seem to mean what I thought they meant.
yes thinking too much, but I do that too. I wish I didn't think so much, like these people that just whisp through life without a care. so, it is not just you, but stop!!! :)
I think if we throw prenatals over our left shoulder it negates the omens. Or something like that.
