does it really matter?

I went to my doctors appointment today to get testing done for clotting disorders. He gave me the chromosome results of my last pregnancy, and a little too much information. We had said when we got the testing done that we didn't want to know if it was a boy or a girl.. I guess we thought it would just be easier not knowing. Today when I went the doctor he accidentally let it slip that the baby we lost was a girl. Was it easier not knowing? I think so.. I dunno.. it's really hard to say. It's been a hard day either way.
