Happy August! As sweet baby Kate sleeps next to me, I thought I'd check in and say hello. Everyone is healthy and happy and we are enjoying the summer, or what little there is left of it. We're excited to be traveling at the end of this month to meet my new nephew Adam. Adam was born on 7-11 and we can't wait to meet him. Also, my brother and sister-in-law will be meeting Katie for the first time when we go to see Adam and it'll be Kate's first time flying. WOAH -- flying!!
I hope she does well on a cross-country flight -- I know I'll be a hot mess since flying terrifies me. Next month my brother gets married, and he just informed me that if I'd like, I can walk down the aisle with Katie if I can find her a wine colored dress to wear. So far I haven't had any luck with that.. so we'll see.
And as always, we miss our sweet baby Charlie. DH and I were laying in bed last night talking about how life would be crazy with a 2 1/2 year old and a almost 5 month old. A kind of crazy we'd love though.. ya know? Time is flying by and I'm enjoying every second with my Katiebug. If there's one thing Charlie taught me it was to not take a single second for granted. Every smile, and every laugh makes my heart melt and I'm truly grateful for such a wonderful gift.

good to hear from you and glad everything is going well. It is too bad you are missing out on the crazy adventure of two kids in diapers.
